Its approximately 66.8MP fully stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor, BIONZ XR2 processor and advanced AI autofocus make it ideal for commercial photography, fashion, landscapes, wildlife, sports and high-resolution video production.
Despite its extremely high resolution, the Alpha 7R VI delivers blackout-free continuous shooting at up to 30 fps with full AF/AE tracking.

66.8MP Fully Stacked Sensor
The Alpha 7R VI features an approximately 66.8-megapixel full-frame, back-illuminated, fully stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor. It delivers outstanding fine detail, natural colour reproduction and up to 16 stops of dynamic range.
The stacked design provides approximately 5.6 times faster sensor readout than the previous generation, helping reduce distortion while supporting high-speed continuous shooting.
BIONZ XR2 with Integrated AI
Sony’s BIONZ XR2 image-processing engine incorporates advanced AI processing directly into the camera. It provides fast image processing, accurate colour reproduction, intelligent autofocus and responsive performance when recording high-resolution photos and video.
Real-Time Recognition AF+
The advanced autofocus system uses AI-based subject recognition and human pose estimation to maintain accurate focus on moving subjects.

5-Axis Image Stabilization
The built-in 5-axis optical stabilization system provides up to 8.5 stops of compensation at the centre of the image and up to 7 stops toward the image periphery.
This helps produce sharper handheld images when shooting architecture, landscapes, portraits and low-light scenes.
Professional OLED Viewfinder
The approximately 9.44-million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder provides detailed subject monitoring with a wide DCI-P3-equivalent colour gamut and 10-bit HDR display capability.
Its improved brightness supports clearer viewing when shooting outdoors in bright conditions.
New High-Capacity Battery
The Alpha 7R VI uses Sony’s new NP-SA100 InfoLITHIUM battery with a capacity of 2670mAh.
It is rated for approximately:
- 710 images using the LCD monitor
- 600 images using the electronic viewfinder
The NP-SA100 is different from the NP-FZ100 used by several earlier Sony Alpha cameras.
Memory-Card Support
Dual media slots support:
- CFexpress Type A cards
- SD, SDHC and SDXC cards
- UHS-II SD cards
CFexpress Type B cards are not compatible. CFexpress 4 cards are recognised and operated as CFexpress 2 cards.

- High-speed shooting performance can vary according to the lens, memory card and camera settings.
- 8K and 4K 120p recording require compatible high-speed memory cards.
- Dust and moisture resistance does not guarantee complete protection against water or dust.
Shipping & Return
1. Items are accepted for return in case of any manufacturing defect with all original attachments and accessories and a copy of the invoice within 7 days from the date of delivery.
2. Item(s) should be in its original, unopened packaging (including unit carton) along with any accessories and free of charge item(s) if applicable.
3. On receipt of the product, our quality assurance department will review the condition and make a declaration of acceptance or non-acceptance.
4. On the basis of the declaration, we will inform you the status within 7 working days of receiving the product.
5. On acceptance for product return, we will process your request for the refund within 7 working days in the same mode of payment it was used during the Purchase.
6. Refunds on the purchases made with the credit card will only be credited to the same card. Please allow one-month billing cycle in order for your credit card to appear.
